Asian Games 2018 is Beneficial for Our Country(Indonesia)

The 18th Asian Games was held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang. Of course this is very beneficial for our country.

Asian Games is a great time to attract many tourist who wants to watch the games. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism provide 75 tour packages of Asian Games 2018 in order to promote our cultures.

The young athletes can also increase flight hours and build up their skills. The examples of young athletes who participated in Asian Games is Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya, the players of badminton men’s doubles. The won a gold medal at a young age. This event also increase employment for Indonesians.

Indonesia also has the opportunity to promote Indonesian characteristics. Bhin Bhin, Atung, and Kaka is a mascot of Asian Games 2018 that inspired by Indonesia typical animals, that bird of paradise, Bawean deer, and horned rhinoceros. 

Of course Asian Games 2018 in Indonesia provide an opportunity to further strenghten relations between communities. Through this event, we can show the world that Indonesia is a nation that is large, compact, and capable of holding major International events.
